With the General Management Master's (M.A.), you develop your management profile further – flexibly, internationally, and practice-oriented. The hybrid study format combines live online instruction with optional on-site attendance phases, allowing you to combine it with your career and personal plans.
In English-language seminars, practical projects, and through exchange with others, you develop the competencies you need for your next career step – regardless of your academic background and whether or not you bring a partner company with you.

Learn management you can actually apply.
The General Management Master's degree combines sound management knowledge with consistent application. Over 24 months, you will further develop your skills in central management and leadership topics and deal with practice-relevant issues. Instead of predominantly testing knowledge in traditional exams, the degree program focuses on transfer and project study work: you analyze challenges, develop solutions, and apply scientific findings to concrete application situations.
The degree program is conducted entirely in English; examinations can be taken in German or English by arrangement. The seminars are predominantly held as compact 1- to 4-day block courses and offered live online, with selected courses optionally available to attend on site. The program is complemented by the SIBE E-Campus. This provides you with the structure and personal interaction of a true Master's program without having to give up your career or place of residence for your studies.

Admission requirements
- Completed initial degree at a German or foreign higher education institution with at least 180 credit points according to ECTS or an equivalent thereof
- English proficiency of at least level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- Broad experience through internships, international experience, volunteer work, professional experience, or similar.
- Successfully completed two-stage selection process at SIBE

- higher education entrance qualification (e.g., high school diploma or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences)

Course starts for the Master's programs take place several times a year and are independent of the official winter and summer semesters.
Selection process
Successfully completed two-stage selection process at SIBE of Steinbeis University, consisting of the formal review of application documents and a personal interview.
Financing
The tuition fees are paid over a period of two years in monthly installments of €500 (excl. VAT).
Early Bird Rates & Start Dates
Apply by December 1, 2026 at the latest for our program start on February 1, 2027 and receive a €1,000 discount.

Optional study abroad programs
As part of our optional study abroad programs, you benefit from a unique mix of:
- Visiting national and international companies, chambers of commerce, or associations, and visiting plants or production sites if applicable
- Exchange with company representatives and/or university representatives on special topics of the respective market
- Insights into the respective culture through a country-specific cultural offering
Individual requests (e.g., visits to specific industries, etc.) will gladly be considered, just contact us about it.
This is an optional offer for all SIBE students and alumni, which is also made independently of any online dual degree options offered by our partner universities. Accordingly, the costs are not included in the tuition and program fees and will be incurred additionally. Please clarify individually whether you will cover the resulting costs yourself or if your partner company will bear them.
