Program Structure & Study Organization
The MBA Professional combines sound management knowledge with your professional practice. Over six semesters, you study part-time in a blended learning format consisting of online and in-person seminars, optionally in German or English. A practical project from your own field of activity accompanies you all the way to the MBA thesis, allowing you to bring your professional experience directly into your studies.
The program is jointly designed by SIBE, the University for Continuing Education Krems (UWK), and the Alma Mater Europaea – European Center Herrenberg (AME ECH). The UWK is the degree-awarding university and confers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. As a partner institution, the AME-ECH contributes its expertise in particular to innovation and leadership programs as well as the transfer of science into practice.

With the MBA Professional, you will develop a broader management profile from this: you will learn not only to evaluate decisions from your functional perspective, but also to incorporate strategic, business administration, and entrepreneurial contexts. Exactly this expansion is intended to prepare you for tasks where, in addition to experience, management and leadership skills are required.
The program is therefore aimed in particular at experienced professionals, project managers, and aspiring leaders who want to take on more responsibility, participate more strongly in strategic decisions, or take the step into a management position. Under certain conditions, the program allows access via extensive professional experience, even if there is no university degree so far.

Admission requirements
- 2 years of professional experience with a completed initial degree from a German or foreign university with at least 180 ECTS credit points or an equivalent thereof
- 3 years of professional experience with a vocational qualification at least at EQF 6 (or at least DQR 6) or
- 4 years of professional experience with a high school diploma or
- 6 years of professional experience without a high school diploma
- Successfully completed admission process (including passing the inbound test)
- Very good command of German or English (depending on the chosen seminar language)

Financing
The tuition and program fees are 19,900 euros. They are paid in 6 installments over a period of three years.
